It was fun while it lasted, even if it lasted something a little less than the titular year. Ultimately the idea just ran out of gas, or more accurately, I did. There are only so many light-poles-against-a-twilight-sky you can shoot. But Pix365 helped me develop an eye for composition, a respect for the creativity of people who photograph with and develop photo apps for the iPhone, and an appreciation for the in-the-moment style of shooting that camera phones, limited as they are, make possible. I expect I’ll be doing another photoblog soon (one that doesn’t require such strict fealty to its own arbitrary rules) and I hope to see you there. Thanks for viewing.
